Squirrels

The squirrel is a small to medium sized rodent. They can be found in the Americas, Eurasia, Africa, and even Australia. Squirrels have been known to attack humans however they generally run away when approached. Squirrel birthing and mating season occur twice a year.

Squirrel mating season happens once between December and February, then again in late June through August. With the gestation period lasting 38 to 46 days, female squirrels will give birth in early spring (February through April) or late summer (August/September).

Some signs that you might have a squirrel are;

  • You might hear medium to loud noises in the attic like scratching, or you will even hear them running about

  • Take a look around your roof line from the ground. Are any spots of your soffit removed or disturbed? Specifically in areas where the soffit meets the roof

  • Squirrels can even chew through your roof vents, our trained technicians will be able to spot this for you

Not sure if you have a squirrel?
Just call for an inspection.

We offer humane animal removal and a trained technician will discuss with you the best option available. Options include installing a one way door and attaching it to the squirrels entrance point so they can get out and not back in again. We can then add additional wildlife barriers to any vulnerable spots so this problem doesn’t keep occurring. Our trained technicians know how to handle and remove babies. We make sure to reunite the mother and babies.
